OPINION
I believe that in the original painting the colors use were too dark and the feeling represents to me is for sadness no for joy and the spring always has been connotations of live and love because is the Season when the flowers grow up, the bird song and the people fall in love that’s the reason why I used bright colors in my representation, I made a mixture with blue a cold color which denotates mysticism or divinity like in the original painting.I can imagine Venus wearing this necklaces in her garden.

...my hiistory trough arts...

The piece of art that i choose, was the new “Delicious Art” created in 2009, by New York comic art genius and award-winning illustrator, Brad Hamann.. It was inspired by the pop art genre that was so popular in the 60´s. The picture shows to the “Be Delicious Girl”, taking out a bit of life and a lot of red and green apples with her. The picture and a comic strip, were used for the new limited-edition version of DKNY’s Be Delicious scent, which puts a “colorful, comic” twist on the original, according to the brand.
This piece shows us an aspect, about Pop Art. The Pop Art Era is said to have begun in 1950s in England and then brought to its fullest potential in New York by the 60s. A visual art movement characterized by themes and techniques drawn from popular culture, Pop Art uses muses such as advertising and comic books to react to the abstract art of the times.
According Sarte, what is important about a piece of art < are not the static objects, in this case the important is the sensation that the picture produces in me, because, my favorite scent is DKNY Be Delicious, so it was great to see that interpretation of the scent.
Now what I do with the pictures was incorporate them to my life, together with other representations of pop art, for example, is well know, that one of their principals exponents in the US, was Andy Warhol, so I take some elements of his work and make a combination.
As you can see, the walls are cover with aluminum paper, because the Warhol’s studio used the same material for cover their walls. Another ideas take from them, are the soup cans, but in this case, their flavor is “chile poblano”, something that is related to the popular culture in México. Another aspect was the look of the female model (me), I used the main colors in his picture of Marilyn Monroe, pink in the dress, yellow in my hair and blue in my eyes an lips; I have a natural spot near to my mouth, so I used that similarity too.
Another elements of art pop in general, are the coca cola soda, in a very special edition mini, that is not common in the market, a Simpson comic book, and a pair of converse shoes, I was wearing one special edition related with pop art too; converse shoes, the coca cola sodas, and the Simpsons comics are adoptions in our culture for the US culture, so that was another principle of the pop art genre, that in any place in the us, or in any place in Mexico, you could find a coca cola, or a converse shoes, or a Simpsons comic or cartoon.
Finally I used the an impression of the “Art Delicious” piece, and one advertising in a popular magazine, a few green apples and my personal, in three sizes, scents DKNY Be Delicious.
